Stories are reaching us – via the entertainmentwise
website – that the multi-talented heiress
has allegedly been refused entry to a nightclub.
After last week’s triumphant glide past
a stunned-looking Tara Reid when the American
Pie actress was left the wrong side of the velvet
rope, it appears Hilton may have slipped from
the A list.
The film Hairspray, based on the similarly named Broadway production, is a musical comedy set for release in 2007 in which John Travolta plays the role of Edna Turnblad.
In New York with boyfriend Brandon Davis –
hang on, what happened to her year of celibacy
vow? – the couple attempted to swan into
the hip Bungalow 8 nightspot only to be told
that the place was “full to capacity”.
